Stress affects people differently, and some people seem to be more resilient to stress when compared to others to others.Nevertheless, a certain amount of stress can be good for self-motivation, building strong connections and sometimes makes a relationship last longer but when stress over-weighs an individual, there's a problem as one's productivity, relationships, health and quality and quantity of life can be impaired.

Stress sometimes can make an individual feel that things are out of control in one's life but look on the bright side; you are in much control of your life than you ever know; stressful lives can be turned around into positive ones following ten ways to reduce stress below:

1. Eat a healthy diet: Eat a healthy breakfast and eat several healthy meals throughout the day. Keeping your body nourished will help you to be resilient towards stress. Do not decide to unhealthy as this could cause you some serious health issues. Be mindful of what you put in your mouth.

2. Get enough sleep: Everyone loves a good, long, peaceful sleep when feelings of stress arise. Establish a healthy bedtime routine to help you prepare to sleep. Try meditation to help you sleep soundly or to help you put your body back to sleep when you wake up during the night.

3. Change what you can change: Plan ahead to avoid unnecessary stress from running late or being unprepared. Use positive communication to send complete messages including how you are feeling, speak up rather than bottling your emotions up.
4. Re-frame the problem: Try viewing the problem causing your stress from another perspective. After this is done, channel your energy into proferring solution to the problem while still keeping your stress levels low. For example, you can use Google up to your advantage by googling up answers that people in the past have provided or chat with friends-Yahoo, Quora and forums are great places to start from

5. Accept that which cannot be changed: Quit trying to control things that are out of your control like other people. Some things cannot be changed, learning to appreciate such things just as it is we will help relieve stress.

6. Learn to say no: Taking a decision and standing right by it 100% no matter what people hold of this is sure to help relieve stress.

7. Manage your stress: "Take a 5-minute break and focus on only one behavior with awareness", Tutlin says. Find ways to introduce peace and calm into your home. Find time to go out into nature when such a need arise. When you spend time at the moment and focus on your senses, you should feel less tense.

8. Spend time with family and friends: Reaching out to people you trust on your social networks is one of your best tools for handling stress. Communicating with someone - preferably face to face, or at least on the phone can help you feel more grounded and calm.
